The Cowley County teen accused of shooting a woman at her Cambridge home will remain at a juvenile detention center.
The 15-year-old's attorney waived his right to a detention hearing on Friday.
No decision was made on whether or not to charge the teen as an adult. He faces attempted first degree murder and aggravated battery charges.
A psychological evaluation has been ordered for the teen.
He'll be back in court for a status conference August 21.

A Cowley County teen charged with attempted murder and aggravated burglary will find out Friday whether he'll stay in juvenile detention or go home. The 15-year-old has been at the Reno County facility since his arrest Wednesday night.
Cowley County Attorney Chris Smith tells us he plans to argue in favor of keeping the boy locked up.
The teen is accused of shooting a woman in the face and chest early Wednesday morning. Doctors have since released the victim from the hospital.
