Reward Offered In Horse Shootings

By Roger Cornish (DODGE CITY, Kan)

Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 cash reward to solve a case of two Ford County horses being shot in the legs.

The incident happened August 29 on 106 Road north of Highway 50.

Ford County Sheriff's deputies found the two injured horses.

Because of the seriousness of the injuries, both horses had to be euthanized.

A witness claims to have heard what sounded like a gunshot between 9 and 10 a-m on that date.

If you have any information, the toll-free number to call is 877-424-4414.
