KWCH - Kansas News and Weather - One Dead After Accident Near Hoxie

One person is dead after an accident Thursday in Sheridan County. The accident happened around 8:20 p.m. on K-23 south of Hoxie.
The Kansas Highway Patrol says a man was driving south on K-23 when he lost control of his SUV. Investigators say the truck went into a skid, rolled several times and ended up in a ditch.
The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Bobby Wayne Smith from Norton. Investigators say he was not wearing a seat belt.
