A Kiowa County man faces a first-degree murder charge in the death of his wife.
Authorities say Mark Ralstin shot and killed his wife, Bobbie Jo, Friday evening in Mullinville. Officers discovered her body when responding to a shots fired call.
Sheriff's deputies arrested him several hours later in Reno County. Investigators say he was trying to break into his sister's home in Hutchinson.
Ralstin will be in court again November 19th.
