TOPEKA, KAN. – If you didn't get your Holiday Millionaire Raffle ticket, you are out of luck. The Kansas Lottery has sold 100% of the total number of tickets available for the game that represents the best chance ever of winning $1 million.
"The Raffle generated a lot of excitement throughout the state," said Executive Director Ed Van Petten. "Thanks to the support of our great players, this game has sold out more than a month before the deadline."
The $20 tickets went on sale October 18, 2009. Only 150,000 tickets were available in the Lottery's first-ever Raffle game. At 1 in 150,000, the Holiday Millionaire Raffle comes with the best chances the Kansas Lottery has ever offered of winning a million dollars. In addition to the grand prize of $1 million, there are also other amounts available to win in this Kansas-only game, including five $50,000 prizes and five hundred $500 prizes.
The Raffle drawing will be held December 31, 2009. Players must retain their original Holiday Millionaire Raffle tickets to claim a prize! The Lottery reminds players to sign their tickets and keep them in a safe place until the drawing.
