Missing Woman's Car Found

Authorities in Arkansas City have just pulled the car belonging to a missing 19-year-old woman, out of a nearby lake.  The car was taken past our crews covering the story, on a flatbed truck.

The Dodge Stratus had been a focal part of the investigation as authorities pleaded for residents to be on the lookout for the vehicle, last seen driven by Jodi Sanderholm last Friday.

Authorities are not saying whether they have any information on the whereabouts of Jodi.  But we do know they are taking the vehicle away to process it for evidence.

Eyewitness News has found a possible connection between Sanderholm and a man arrested over the weekend on charges unrelated to the missing woman's case.  We have learned that the man in custody has been questioned in connection with her disappearance but not charged in the case.  We have also confirmed that the man (we have his name but are not releasing it unless he is charged) worked at the same Subway restaurant where Jodi was last seen Friday afternoon.

Stay with Eyewitness News online and 6 and 10 for the very latest information.  We have several crews in Arkansas City and will have updates on this story as we learn them.
