When someone disappears they show up. Tuesday night, the group that helped search for Jodi Sanderholm returned to meet her family for the first time.
Texas Equusearch Founder Tim Miller says, "I can relate to them for what they're going through in this period of time and I'm going to be with them all through this hard healing process."
Three local clubs hosted a spaghetti dinner at Ark City High. More than a thousand people opened their wallets to thank Texas Equusearch. They raised more than six-thousand-dollars. The organization operates on private donations.
Sanderholm, 19, was murdered early last month. Equusearch helped break the case when the team found her car in Cowley State Fishing Lake.
