By day, Krista Nevarez is a fourth grade teacher at Stanley Elementary. By night, she desires to live out the dreams of little girls and women.
Naverez wants to be a princess. She hopes the Walt Disney company will make that dream come true.
The teacher is one of 20 finalists up for the "job" being offer through Disney's "The Year of a Million Dreams" contest. The company is awarding more than one million very special dreams to guests at the Disneyland Resort in California and the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida.
Naverez says she deserves the job of being a princess because she just can't get enough of Disney.
"I went to Disneyland for my high school graduation with my mom and dad. And then actually we went on our honeymoon to Disney World. And then once I went to Disney World a couple years ago."
Opportunities to live out Disney dreams don't stop at being princesses. The contest is letting some lucky Disney fans get the chance to become some of their favorite characters. A Jungle Cruise skipper, Haunted Mansion butler and a pirate are some of the other jobs up for grabs.
As for Naverez, being a princess is just fine.
"I just can't get enough. I went again last year and going again this summer. I'm addicted to Disney."
