American Idol finalist and former Wichitan Phil Stacey made a stop in Wichita Tuesday to raise money for the residents of Greensburg.
He played to a sold out crowd at Central Christian Church.
Phil graduated from Wichita's Northwest High School and was one of the top ten finalists on American Idol this season. Stacey says it's taking time to get used to the fame, because he doesn't feel any different. However, fans know everything about his life.
"They'll ask how Kendra, my wife, is and they know the names of my kids. It's strange, but it's funny," he laughs.
The concert brought hundreds of fans to Central Christian Church. Wichita Mayor Carl Brewer even declared Tuesady Phil Stacey Day in honor of the concert.
