Reality Star Back Home in Haysville

by Kim Hynes by Kim Hynes

She spent the summer living in the Big Brother house competing for a half million dollars.  Haysville native Jessica Hughbanks is back home. She's now spending time catching up with her family and watching episodes she lived through. "It looks so much easier when you're just watching, but when you're living it, it's so much different."

She also says she was under constant stress during the show. She says she was always thinking what's her next move and who she needed to be aligned with.

Her strategies got her pretty far in the competition, but the beginning wasn't easy. "It took me a while to shower and go to the bathroom, because we were always wearing microphones and the cameras were always on us. After a while, this is what I signed up for and I'm going to be myself."

And now that she's home, she sits back and watches the episodes her mom recorded to see what the world already has. She says a lot of people at home may not realize but editors have a lot of control over how she looks. She felt at times things were taken out of context.
