North High Student Pleads to Explosives Charge

Posted: Updated:

By Roger Cornish (WICHITA, Kan)

A Wichita North High School student pleads guilty to criminal use of explosives.  The 16-year-old was arrested last september, after officers found explosives at his home.

They were tipped off when two other North students told a security guard they were concerned.

Police say the boy threatened to kill people on his MySpace page.

After pleading guilty, the student is scheduled for sentencing next month.
