KWCH - Kansas News and Weather - Planned Parenthood Files Suit Against Kline

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - A Planned Parenthood chapter has filed a lawsuit with the Kansas Supreme Court against Johnson County District Attorney Phill Kline.
Planned Parenthood of Kansas and Mid-Missouri operates an Overland Park clinic that provides abortions. Last week, Attorney General Paul Morrison sent its attorney a letter saying an investigation of its activities found no criminal wrongdoing.
In that same letter, Morrison said Kline had copies of edited medical records of the clinic. Kline was attorney general before Morrison and lost to Morrison in the November election.
But neither Kline nor a Planned Parenthood attorney would discuss the lawsuit, which was filed June 6. Court records say documents in the case are under seal.
