So maybe I don't need new glasses after all!
This whole thing started a month or so ago when my wife decided she hated what she called my "old man" glasses, one step removed from saying she just hated the "old man."
So, we picked out several styles of replacements and posted pictures on our website to allow viewers to vote.
Turns out, more than a third of those who voted think I should keep my current pair, far outdistancing new pair #3.
My thoughts exactly!
Actually, I prefer no glasses at all, but contact lenses have always been uncomfortable, and I kind of need to see.
My wife Wanetta issued this statement when asked about her campaign defeat..."My team and I ran a strong campaign, but the people have spoken. We will of course give in to the will of the people. Thanks to all those who voted. This was another great example of government 'by the people'. I am unwavering in my commitment to find ways to improve Roger. God bless America!"
