Samantha is the Salina Bureau reporter for KWCH 12 Eyewitness News.
She graduated with honors from the University of Kansas in 2012 with a double major in journalism and history.
During her senior year, she worked as a photographer and reporter at WIBW in Topeka, Kan. Prior to that, Samantha was a reporter, anchor and producer at KUJH, the University of Kansas’ station, and also interned in sports at KCTV.
She is just a little bit nosy and loves learning new things. She found that reporting was the perfect way to be nosy, but in a more socially acceptable way.
Samantha’s dad never had a son, so he made her watch hours of football with him as a child—fostering her love of sports.
In her spare time Samantha likes to watch movies, obsess over her fantasy football teams, read, and, on a good day, go for a run.
