Andrea Cassell shows Brett and Sierra how to make a delicious sun tea with fresh herbs and a splash of your favorite adult beverage!
1 Gallon glass container
8 tea bags (your choice), I use herbal.
Liquor of your choice
Fresh herbs (mint, lemon, balm, stevia, basil, lavender, and any herb of your choice)
Fill glass container with water, almost to the top.
Put the tea bags in the water.
Take herbs of your choice and crush them slightly, to bruise; add them to the water.
Cover the top of the container to keep bugs out etc.
Put container outside in full sun.
Bring the container inside once the tea looks dark in color and put in the refrigerator.
If too strong, dilute with some water.
Take herbs out of container, as it will get too strong.
You may add your choice of sugar or honey to your tea. (I use Stevia)
If you want to make a delicious, flavorful drink, put your choice of liquor in a glass using 1 shot glass full. Add tea from the refrigerator, stir and top with your favorite fresh herb!
