RESTAURANT DISCOUNTS AND DEALS FOR VETERANS DAY
On the Border - All veterans and active-duty military will receive a free dinner combination from the Create Your Own Combo menu Monday.
Texas Roadhouse, 6707 W. Kellogg Dr. - Active, retired or former U.S. military can choose one of 10 entrees and two sides during lunch. Lasts from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday. Proof of service includes military or VA card or discharge papers.
Chili's - Mention the Give Back Event for the Wounded Warrior Project on Sunday and Chili's will donate 10 percent of the check's net sales to that oranization. Also, free entree for veterans and active military personnel Monday.

Saturday, Nov. 9:
Veterans Day parade, 11 a.m. in Wichita. Starts at Main Street and Murdock.
Celebration of Freedom parade, 11 a.m. in El Dorado. Miss Kansas Theresa Vail will be parade marshal. Other events take place Saturday through Monday. For information, visit ElDoradoChamber.com.

Celebration and flag raising, 10:30 a.m. at front entrance of Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis in Wichita. Includes a brief ceremony and a reception will follow.
