Advance voting available on Wichita hotel tax

Details of advance voting on the Wichita hotel tax question have been released.

Voters may visit the Sedgwick County election office to cast their votes from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Feb. 15 - 24 and from 8 a.m. to noon Feb. 27. 

Or, voters may visit any of nine other locations to cast their votes from noon to 7 p.m. Feb. 23 and 24 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 25. 
 
Photo IDs will be required to vote in this election and new electronic poll books will be used to speed up the check-in process and aid poll workers in complying with the SAFE Act. 

Approximately 16,000 Sedgwick County voters will receive notification from the Election Office to indicate a different polling location for this special election.
