No one wants to be in the hospital, so imagine staying for nearly two months.  Meghan Krembel knows what it's like, she spent 51 days in the hospital because of complications of fighting Crohn's disease.

Because of that, she returned to Via Christi Hospital on St. Francis Wednesday, visiting the 8th floor with some of her Target co-workers. They handed out goodie bags filled with items to help patients pass the time.

Krembel says she's "paying it forward" for all the support she got when she was in the hospital. "I think, we all want to use our personal experiences to have an impact on other people," Krembel told Eyewitness News. "I know what it feels like to be in that bed, it's not fun."

Krembel says it was an emotional experience being back on 8th floor. She made a similar visit before, but that was to a pediatric ward.
