Wichita, KS -

GraceMed Health Clinic is hosting its Say Grace Race for the third Thanksgiving in a row. They're encouraging Wichitans to "run the race, then feed your face." Money raised from the race will go to support the ministry of GraceMed Health Clinic. Last year over 1,500 people participated, and the event raised almost $50,000 for GraceMed.

The Say Grace Thanksgiving Day 5K Race is a combined race and walk through Midtown, starting at 10th and Topeka. Before the race is a costume contest for "Fancy Feathers" Best Dressed Team. After the race, participants are invited to enjoy muffins and bananas.

There is still time to register if you want to participate in the race. Registration is open online until November 27, or you can register at GoRun West (2556 N. Maize Rd), GoRun East (2350 N. Greenwich) or First Gear (111 N. Mosley).

The morning will start at 8 am for last minute registration. The best dressed team judging starts at 9, and then the race begins at 9:30. Awards will be presented at 10:30.
