WITI-TV, BAYSIDE—
When a coyote began attacking a Bayside woman's labrador retriever, she wasn't sure what would happen next. But little did Kay Campbell expect her dachshund, Little Puddin', to take action against the wild animal.Little Puddin' dashed across Campbell's yard, tail up in the air, barking like crazy. The little wiener dog chased the coyote away.
Officials with the Wisconsin Humane Society say most coyotes are not looking for a fight. Simple noise makers and tennis balls will scare the animals away. That might be part of the reason the little dachshund was able to scare away the coyote with such ease.
