Runners got a chance to once again create a unique piece of artwork in the 3rd Annual Ballet Wichita 5K Art Run on Saturday, June 21st in downtown Wichita. The 5K (3.1 miles) race kicked-off at 8 AM near the corner of Douglas and Waco.  The course included many downtown landmarks, including: the Delano district Clocktower, the Keeper of the Plains, Arkansas River, Exploration Place, Lawrence-Dumont Stadium, the Water Wall at the Hyatt Regency Hotel and the art in A Price Woodward Park. The event concluded with runners entering the “Silk Village,” where they took turns at making a beautiful piece of artwork made of silk
