Wichita BOE approves contract for company to maintain buildings in case of shutdown

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Lawmakers return to Topeka on Thursday and they have seven days to fix a school funding problem. If they don't, schools could shut-down.

Monday night, the board unanimously approved a $50,000 contract with an outside company to help maintain roughly 100 buildings for the district if it is forced to close.
