3 Kansas schools to receive new fitness centers

TOPEKA, Kan. (KWCH) Does your school lead the way in fitness?

Then, it could be in the running for a new fitness center.

Jake Steinfield, Chairman of the National Foundation for Governors' Fitness Councils, announced Monday that the State of Kansas has been selected for its 2018 DON'T QUIT! fitness campaign.

Three Kansas schools that demonstrate leadership in getting and keeping their students fit will be selected to receive a state-of-the-art DON'T QUIT! Fitness Center

The nomination process opens Monday and runs through Friday, April 6, 2018. Anyone can nominate a school by visiting www.natgovfit.org.

Schools in South Carolina, Tennessee and Utah will also have the opportunity to receive new fitness centers.
