Parrot's screams for help prompts visit from sheriff's office

A UPS driver was delivering packages in Clackamas, Oregon, on Monday when he heard what sounded like a woman screaming inside a residence.

The driver called his wife, who in turn called the police. The UPS worker stood by while he waited for to them to arrive.

When Deputy Hyden Sanders from the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office arrived he found what was causing the screams.

The screamer was a parrot named Diego.

After a very brief investigation, police determined no foul play had taken place. Diego was just in good spirits.

Sanders was happy to report the green and yellow bird was uninjured and in no need of police assistance.
