HAYS, Kan. (KWCH) The operator of a backhoe used to demolish a dorm at Fort Hays State University was a little shaken up during an accident on Tuesday.
The Hays Daily News (http://bit.ly/2f2nhTy) reports the machinery fell into the basement of Wiest Hall which is currently being demolished.
The owner of the demolition company was driving the equipment when the collapse happened. He told the paper it's not the first time something like that had happened to him.
The backoe was able to be driven out of the basement. No one was hurt.
