CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (KWCH) A 9-year-old boy in East Tennesse gave his allowance to President Trump after hearing his parents talk about Trump's campaign promise to only accept a salary of $1.
Eli'sha Davis wrote to the president in January after the inauguration. He was worried the president did not have enough money to pay the bills at the White House.
This week, he received a letter back from the President, along with a picture and three dollars. The letter challenged him to put the money to good use in the community.
