Chapman High School on lockdown due to 'social media concern'

CHAPMAN, Kan. (KWCH) Chapman High School has been placed on lockdown while local law enforcement investigates a social media concern, that's according to a Facebook post.

The district says anyone involved in the concern is in custody and a K-9 searched the school to ensure students' safety.

"We do not feel that there is any reason for concern for the safety of our students and staff," the district continued in its post. "We are taking every precaution to ensure that all Chapman High School students are safe and secure."
