FBI traces school threat to Kingman student computer

KINGMAN (KWCH) Kingman school officials say on Tuesday, FBI traced an online threat posted to a website to a student.

The Kingman-Norwich USD 331 Superintendent Dr. Bob Diepenbrock said he was informed on Tuesday evening to an online threat.

"Local law enforcement was contacted by the FBI and the computer was traced to a KHS student," says Diepenbrock.

Law enforcement concluded it was a written threat only. School officials say it was not necessary to cancel school for the day, and there were no plans nor capacity to carry out the threat.

The district did not release any other information regarding the student or the incident.
