A family friend confirms one of the two people killed in the grain elevator accident Tuesday is Marcus Tice.
The accident happened at Gavilon Grain. The company would not answer any other questions regarding the two people killed and if the company was properly following safety guidelines at the time of the accident.
The county has not yet officially released the name of the people involved.
There have been similar deaths like this all around the U.S.
Ron Hayes says his son died in a similar accident years ago in Florida. He says because of his son's death, laws have changed.
He says OSHA used to charge families to see their loved one's case files and he put a stop to that. He says he also helped changed the way OSHA works with families involved in accidents to help them grieve.
"Just one person suffocated in a grain bin is one too many. It shouldn't happen, it doesn't have to happen and all we have to do is have respect for someones life," said Hayes.
