Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that dense fog may show up in Kansas during the night and early morning hours of Friday. With temperatures just below freezing, some slick areas may show up once again.
Friday morning will start with temperatures in the 20s and low 30s. Afternoon highs will warm into the 30s and 40s with some hints of sunshine later in the day.
The next storm will push into the Plains Friday night and Saturday. Around Wichita, we expect some rain to develop closer to Saturday morning, while northwest Kansas is expecting snow. Several inches are possible along and to the north of I-70. Some snow will be blowing around in strong north winds.
Milder temperatures in the 40s and 50s should be around for the end of the weekend.
