Former YMCA employee appears in court on new charge

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Caleb Gaston, the former YMCA employee accused of sexually abusing two children at the downtown location, appeared in court Monday afternoon to hear the new charged against him.

He was charged with aggravated indecent liberties with a child.

Police arrested Gaston on Jan. 31 and charged him on Feb. 1 with raping a four-year-old girl at the downtown Y.

During the investigation, detectives discovered a second child had been sexually abused by Gaston. They say this incident happened before the first report was taken.

Gaston is currently being held in the Sedgwick County jail on a $1 million bond. He cannot have contact with anyone under 18-years-old.

His next court appearance is set for Feb. 27.
