Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that after some very chilly temperatures this week, milder weather will make an appearance this weekend. Afternoon temperatures will get back above normal by Saturday.
Overnight temperatures will drop into the teens and 20s with even lower wind chills. Clouds will increase from the north, but Kansas is expected to remain dry. We can expect a little less cold on Friday with highs warming into the mid and upper 40s. It will be very windy across western Kansas with northwest winds gusting to near 35 mph.
Temperatures will be going up this weekend with highs reaching the low 50s by Saturday and should get above 60 by Sunday. There's still no chance for any moisture.
