WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Starting Saturday morning, all four cloverleaf ramps in the I-235 and US-54 interchange will be closed.
Additionally, east-bound and west-bound US-54 will be reduced to just one lane underneath the I-235 overpass.
North-bound and south-bound I-235 is already reduced to single lane traffic over US-54.
The Kansas Department of Transportation says US-54 will return to two lane traffic in both directions by 7 p.m. Saturday night and the northeast and southwest quadrants of the cloverleaf ramps will re-open.
Ramps that will remain closed after this weekend's bridge work include: the south-bound I-235 ramp to west-bound US-54, the west-bound US-54 ramp to south-bound I-235, the east-bound US-54 ramp to northbound I-235, and the east-bound US-54 ramp to West St.
