Kareem Abdul-Jabbar to speak at K-State Feb. 6

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KWCH) Form NBA star Kareem Abdul-Jabbar will speak at Kansas State University on Tuesday.

The university's Black Student Union, Student Governing Association, Union Program Council and Athletics Department are sponsoring the Black History Month event.

Abdul-Jabbar is a six-time NBA Champion, best-selling author, motivational speaker and cancer survivor.

The special lecture event will take place at Bramlage Coliseum in Manhattan on Feb. 6 at 7 p.m.

The lecture is free and the public is invited, but tickets are required.
