Wichita police are investigating after a shooting at a Dillons parking lot that left a 19-year-old man hospitalized.

It happened early Monday morning at 135th Street West and Maple.

Police tell us three people met in the parking lot. Each arived separately. They then get into one car. That's when an argument broke out, and according to police, one of them fired a shot, striking another in the head.

That 19-year-old man was taken to the hospital, but police expect he will be okay.

Police say the shooter left the scene, and they don't have a description of that person right now.
