Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that milder weather will stick around into Tuesday with highs mostly in the 50s. Dry weather continues with passing clouds from time to time.
Through the night and early Tuesday, winds will be gusty from the south/southwest with lows staying above freezing.
Clouds begin to thin out Tuesday afternoon with highs in the mid and upper 50s. Gusty winds in the morning should begin to back down later in the day.
A strong cold front will enter Kansas on Wednesday, but much of southern Kansas will still have a chance to warm up into the 50s. Cooler 40s will return to northern Kansas and skies will be mostly cloudy. Much colder air will be coming back by Thursday and Friday, and with moisture increasing from the south, there is a chance for icy weather into the weekend. Stay tuned.
