Chief Meteorologist Ross Janssen says that even though Friday still looks a bit chilly, temperatures will be trending up a bit heading into the weekend.
Friday morning will start with some high clouds passing through and morning lows in the teens across central and eastern Kansas. Western Kansas will have lows in the 20s. Afternoon highs will be a mix of 40s and 50s with south winds gusting to 30 mph in some areas.
Saturday will be milder with highs in the 50s. A cold front will push through the state Saturday night, sending temperatures down on Sunday. A few snow showers are possible in northern Kansas Sunday afternoon, but it won't be much more than a dusting. Travel should not be impacted by the Sunday snow chance.
