WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) If you had trouble filling a prescription at CVS on Tuesday, you're not the only one.
The company says a system interruption caused problems for several stores nationwide.
This led to a lot of angry customers who were told they could fill their prescriptions despite the glitch but actually could not.
CVS issued a statement regarding this nationwide outage:
Some of our pharmacies are experiencing system connectivity interruptions that we are actively working to resolve. However, our pharmacies can continue filling prescriptions during this period. If a customer is being told that their prescription cannot be filled, that is not accurate and they should contact us directly at 1-800-SHOP-CVS so that we can follow up.
We do not know if this problem will continue today. CVS says it's working to resolve the problem.
