3.4 magnitude earthquake strikes in Cheney

CHENEY, Kan. (KWCH) Did you feel it?

The U.S. Geological Survey says a 3.4 magnitude earthquake rattled south-central Kansas overnight.

The USGS reports the quake hit 2:21 a.m. about two miles southeast of Cheney.

A smaller 2.9 magnitude quake was recorded just after 10 a.m. Sunday in Sumner County.
