RCPD releases name of apparent drowning victim; Search continues

MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) The Riley Co. Police Dept. plans to resume Sunday its search for the body of a Stillwell man believed to have drowned in Tuttle Creek Lake the day before.

RCPD says its officers were called to the lake around 3 p.m. Saturday on a report that a man had apparently drowned.

They identified him as 21-year-old Anthony Berg. Authorities have not released any details surrounding the situation.

Members of the Pottawatomie Co. Sheriff's Office, Manhattan Fire Dept., Riley Co. EMS, Riley Co. Emergency Management, Kansas Highway Patrol, and the Kansas Dept. of Wildlife and Parks have all joined RCPD officers in the search.
