Reno County man faces federal sex trafficking charges

WICHITA, Kan. A Reno County man faces federal sex-trafficking charges, U.S. Attorney Stephen McAllister says.

Timothy Joe Rogers, 31, of Haven, is charged with two counts of the sex trafficking of a minor.

"The indictment alleges he solicited a victim under 18 years old to engage in commercial sex acts," McAllister says.

If convicted, the U.S. attorney says Rogers faces at least 10 years in prison and a fine up to $250,000 on each count.
