(KWCH) Erik Stevenson tells Wichita State he will become a Shocker in 2018. Stevenson is a 6-foot-4 guard at Timberline High in Lacey, Wash.
As a junior, Stevenson averaged nearly 19 points and was an All-Class 3A honorable mention player.
He plans on signing in November.
Stevenson said in a twitter post, "First, I would like to thank God for blessing me with an amazing family, support system, as well as the opportunity to play college basketball. I would like to thank ALL of the schools who recruited me, your efforts, time and energy is greatly appreciated. I'd like to thank Coach Thomas, Coach Howell, Coach Spivey, Gio Woods and my parents for mentoring me to become a better basketball payer, but more importantly a better man.
