Anti-gay slur found on Kansas State University's student union

MANHATTAN, Kan. (KWCH) Kansas State officials found a homophobic slur outside the university's student union.

This is the latest in several vandalism incidents targeting diversity at the school.

The slur was found Monday and said God hates fags. The writing was removed by Student Union custodians early Monday afternoon.

The anti-gay vandalism occurred the same week some vandalized a temporary dwelling erected outside a residential complex for the Jewish harvest festival Sukkot.

The dean of students and vice president for student life, says campus police are investigating the incident.
