Body of missing Rose Hill woman located near Kan.-Okla. border

SUMNER COUNTY, Kan. (KWCH) UPDATE: The search for Dixie Adair is over. Investigators found the 86-year-old Rose Hill woman's body Thursday night, a few hours after her car was located in south Sumner County near the Kansas-Oklahoma border.

Adair went missing Monday following a trip to the Kansas Star Casino in Mulvane.

Authorities say the woman left the casino and got stuck on the rural road either Monday or Tuesday.

They say Adair likely got lost on the rural road, got stuck in the mud, and then exited the vehicle.

The Sumner County Sheriff's Office says dogs used in the search found Adair's body about 200 feet from where investigators located her car near Hunnewell.
