Surveillance video catches attempted break-in

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Wichita police are searching for two men who tried to break into a northeast Wichita home on Thursday, Nov. 2.

Crime Stoppers posted surveillance photos from the crime on their Facebook page.

The organization says two men tried to force their way into a house in the 1500 block of North Old Manor. One of the suspects was armed with a knife, and the other with a shotgun.

They pried open the storm door and then attempted to kick open the door to gain entry but were unsuccessful.

The residents were in the home at the time.
