Meteorologist Sarah Fletcher says a warming trend will take over through the start of the week.
Southerly wind will pull in warmer air this weekend, with a gradual warming trend for the next few days. Highs will reach the upper 30s Sunday, the upper 40s Monday, and the upper 50s on Tuesday.
A weak cold front will move through the state on Tuesday, shifting the wind, and cooling our highs a few degrees. We'll drop into the lower 50s behind the front mid-week.
A stronger rush of cold air will push into the region by the end of the week. Highs will drop back into the 30s Friday. We could see a few flurries Friday into Saturday, but the confidence on the timing and impacts of this system are low at this time.
