Meteorologist Sarah Fletcher says warmer weather is on the way.
Ridging will take over for the next few days, keeping the sky clear, and warming our temperatures... gradually. Highs will reach the upper 20s to lower 30s on Saturday, warming into the upper 30s to mid 40s on Sunday.
By the start of the work week, warm air will rush in from the south, with highs jumping into the upper 50s.
A weak cold front will move through the region on Tuesday. We won't have a chance for rain or snow with this front, but it will drop our temperatures a few degrees.
That "cool down" won't last long. We'll rebound back into the mid 50s to lower 60s by the middle of the week.
Our next, stronger, cold front will hold off until the end of the week. There's a slight chance for showers with this front, but the main impact will be the drop in temperatures. Highs will fall back into the 30s on Friday.
