Meteorologist Sarah Fletcher says we'll get warmer and we'll get a break from the wind for the start of the work week.
Tonight, lows will fall into the 20s. It will be mostly clear with wind up to 20-25 mph.
Tomorrow, it will get warmer in the afternoon. Sunshine will stick around with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s. Wind will be in from the southeast, only around 5-10 mph.
A warm front will lift to the north, through the state Monday night into Tuesday morning. It will get warmer on Tuesday, with lows in the 40s and highs in the 80s.
Just as we warm up, a cold front will move through the state, from the west, Tuesday night. On Wednesday, highs will fall into the 60s and 70s. We won't see a chance for rain with this front. Expect sunshine to continue through most of the week.
Our next chance for rain will arrive on Friday, as an area of low pressure moves into southwestern Kansas. This low will move along the state line with Oklahoma throughout the day, keeping the chance for showers in the forecast through Saturday.
