Wichita gun range offers free active shooter response training for teachers

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) Thunderbird Firearms Academy is offering a free active shooter response class for teachers.

The Wichita gun range says the class will focus on the run, hide and fight strategy. It will address the psychological and physical aspects needed to survive a shooting.

Participants in the April 21 class will receive training in providing casualty care and triage skills.
