WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) The Sedgwick County Health Department is recognizing World Aids Day on Friday by offering free HIV tests from 8 to 4:30 p.m.
World Aids Day provides an opportunity for people to show their support for people living with HIV.
One man tells Eyewitness News he tries to be open about being HIV positive in order to increase awareness.
"Prevention is the biggest part and that helps."
Once again those free screenings are taking place at a few different places around town.
